Great hospitality starts with understanding people
HOW
WHAT
I teach compassionate leadership skills, emotional intelligence and the critical communication skills to effectively put everything into practice. These practical capabilities change how people think and behave when it matters.
I help shape leaders who understand their own emotional responses and can regulate them under pressure while coaching their teams to communicate clearly, handle conflict well and feel safe enough to speak up.
HOW
I deliver this through workshops and one to one coaching, online and in person.
I don't just teach the theory and the psychology behind it, I meet people where they are and help them build the capability through frameworks, practices and honest conversations.
Every engagement is designed to leave behind a shared language, a set of tools and a way of working that grows into their leadership style long term.
Most hospitality problems are human not operational. You can fix the rota, you can renegotiate the supplier contract, you can redesign the menu and yet the same issues keep coming back.
GOLDEN CIRCLE
WHY
Hospitality is full of brilliant people doing extraordinary work. Too often, they're let down by leaders who were never taught how to lead, only how to manage.
I believe leadership is a skill, not a personality trait.
It can be taught, practiced and built into the fabric of a business. And when it is, everything changes: teams thrive, businesses succeed and guests have experiences they come back for.
This is how I think about leadership in hospitality, why I do the things I do and how I do it.
Businesses that invest in their people retain them and build strong cultures.

THE PERSON BEHIND THE PRACTICE

Meet the coach
I am Oana, the founder and lead coach of Dining Dynamics. I spent over ten years in hospitality, both corporate and independent, running operations, leading teams and sorting out the messy bits. I know this world well. I know what it feels like to watch good people leave, to see brilliant businesses being held back by leaders who only know how to manage and to wonder why guests are not coming back even when everything looks right on paper.
What I learned in that decade is that the hardest and stickiest problems in hospitality are almost never operational, they are human. They're about how people communicate, how they respond to pressure and how safe they feel to speak up.
I started Dining Dynamics because I watched brilliant operators struggle, not because they lacked skill or effort, but because nobody had ever helped them understand the people side of the business. They were taught how to manage stock, rotas and margins but nobody taught them how to read a room, build a culture based on genuine human connection or navigate the invisible dynamics that shape everything.
I am neurodivergent, which means I see patterns and dynamics that others miss. I am straightforward, thorough and I genuinely care about the people I work with. I'm interested in what actually helps you lead and communicate better so you can have an amazing business that people love to be a part of.
I'm also not interested in creating dependency. The goal isn't for you to need me forever. It's to build the capability in you and your team so that the change carries on long after our work together is done.
I work exclusively with businesses who care as much about their people and their impact as they do about their bottom line. People who want to do good and be successful, not one at the expense of the other.
If that soundsds like you, let's have a conversation.
"Run towards what you want, as opposed to away from what you don't want." - Will Guidara, Unreasonable Hospitality
